Magnitude 5.6 earthquake strikes northwestern Iran


Oct 5 (Reuters) - A greatness 5.6 seismic tremor struck northwestern Iran on Wednesday, and state TV said clinical experts in the space revealed that something like 276 individuals had been harmed.



The tremor's focal point was near the town of Khowy in the area of West Azerbaijan. Khowy Health related Crisis Administration was cited as saying that "276 individuals have been harmed up until this point, including 68 who were hospitalized for minor breaks."

The tremor was around 11.6 km (7.2 miles) from Khowy and at a profundity of 10 km (6.21 miles), the US Land Study said.


The GFZ German Exploration Place for Geosciences (GFZ) prior said that the shudder was greatness 5.5 and near the Armenia-Azerbaijan-Iran line locale.
